The Mini Goldendoodle is the result of a Toy Poodle / Miniature Poodle that is crossed with a Golden Retriever. Golden doodles need to be a part of the group, which means they are there for comfort and companionship. Remember that the dog breeds that make the best of friends also get anxiety when left alone for long periods.
Traditional breed associations such as the AKC, the UKC, and the CKC, do not recognize the Golden Doodles / Goldendoodles hybrid, mix-breed, designer breed dogs as a breed. In some cases, they might accept the registration of hybrid, mixed-breed dogs for performance events. The Continental Kennel Club does acknowledge Golden Doodles / Goldendoodles as a pedigree as long as the parents have breed registration.
